This impresses me so much, that as a reward, you get a bunch of questions answered right here in this FAQ. Who could ask for more? Q: I want to know EXACTLY how long it took you to do the game. A: Gee, according to my calendar, I started on February 11 and will finish tomorrow or the day after. Q: How come this game was so NOT packed with humorous content and Todd's Adventure was? A: I dunno, one day I just got this idea for a long RPG/adventure set in a War-Torn future, and worked up from there. After this game, I realize that humorous stuff is much more fun to work on, and my next game WILL be funny. Q: Why are you mad? A: Agh. I hate it when people ask me that. My initials are M-A-D, and I'm a guy. Is that simple enough for ya? Q: Will there ever be a sequel? A: Naah. It wouldn't be a bad idea, but I'm tired of this game. Who knows, maybe I'll let someone ELSE do a sequel someday if they really wanted to... Q: Are the characters based on people you know in real life? A: Yeah, right. If Kyle was real, he wouldn't want to hang around with anyone reading this. Q: How many endings are there? A: Four, to be exact. They're not all that hard to find. Q: Where did your inspiration come from? A: A lot of it came from Final Fantasy VII, which happens to be my favorite game of all time. Before playing that, I never even knew I liked RPGs. Q: Are War-Torn's RPG battles made from scratch, or ripped from someone else's game? A: How dare you accuse me of blatantly ripping off someone else's RPG battle engine! Yes, it was done from scratch. Not very easy, I must say. Q: What were the hardest parts of the game to do? A: The absolute hardest part had to be the RPG battles. I think I spent like five hours perfecting the first one. Getting around the memory constraints of ZZT was annoying- sometimes I'd do a complex object, and then when I'd look at it, its coding would be gone. That third battle was torture. Q: What about the music? A: What about it? Uh, it didn't take all that long to do. Q: Hey, you're an idiot! A: That's not a question, loser lad. Q: So what's the purpose of this FAQ? A: This FAQ is not an act of an ego-infested braggart who wants attention. I just wanted to see if people played the game, and making people send comments to me to get this FAQ seemed like a good idea. I also did this because it was fun to write, and I myself enjoy reading game FAQs. So, there you have it!
